So after Boring Black Friday and Silly Cyber Monday I'm grateful to be able to tell you that today is Giving Tuesday. At last, something we can get behind at MoneyMagpie.

You probably do all of the above anyway, but it's nice to have a reminder, particularly after the orgy of spending we've just been through this weekend!
Also today we're bringing you a rather controversial article by a friend of mine who has been researching the so-called 'fact-checking' organisations that have sprung up (pretty much since Brexit and Donald Trump). Are they factual? Are they independent? Hmm, what do you think?! Find

A recent survey of 2,000 people carried out for charity, The Big Give, has revealed that 16% of people in the UK, almost 1 in 6, say they are considering using a food bank this Christmas.
