Did you know that the the estimated cost of the controversial HS2 railway project is around £34 billion (and a whistleblower projected the costs to be 'more like £160 billion)'?
Did you know that we taxpayers spent £57 billion to bail out RBS bank?
And yet, the government is allowing us to struggle through with extortionate energy bills and the rising cost of food!
There are 27.8 million households in the UK. The average amount that each household will have to pay for their energy this year is £2,000 (coincidentally the same amount our MPs voted as a pay rise for themselves last week).
So it would cost around £54 billion for the government to pay our energy bills this year. That's less than it cost to bail out RBS and much less than it will cost to build HS2.
It is time to say 'enough'! We're mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore!"
Get in touch with your MP and tell them that they have to pay our energy bills this year. If they can pay for what I've outlined above they can certainly help with those.
Tell them you won't vote for them in the next election unless they do something. Picket the Houses of Parliament. Protest by marching against price rises.
We have to do it sooner rather than later because inflation has only just started here.
As always, we are bringing you as much helpful information as we can in this newsletter (and at all times on the website). Today we have special
grants for dyslexia and information about
statutory sick pay. We also have some more fun ways to make money of course -
even for your dog!
But the main message from me today is that we have to get together and fight for our rights before they're all taken away.
Love and strength
