Hello , It feels like the end of an era doesn't it? Because, let's face it, it is. We have come to the end of the Second Elizabethan era. Like the first Elizabethans, we
have come through a time of prosperity, turmoil and progress. We don't know what is coming next but we're facing it with courage, faith and an expectancy of good. Honestly I think that's the only way to look to the future, whatever the past has been. Like most people in the country, and outside of it, all the MoneyMagpie team have appreciated the sacrifices our Queen made for the country. We also remember with gratitude her sense of
fun, her fairness and her moral compass that helped to pull things together when they were perilously close to falling apart. Honestly, I think the best way that we can 'pay our respects' to her is to follow her lead as much as we can in our own lives: to sacrifice more for others, to see the light and fun in as much of life as possible and to 'do the right thing' rather than the convenient thing wherever possible. And this week we're bringing you a bumper crop of helpful ideas, money-makers, useful news items and even a fun competition to do our bit in celebrating the life of a woman who showed, through her example, how to serve. We've got free books, amazing exclusive offers and information on how you can win £50. And we even have an exclusive competition you can enter to win £100 by watching Bake-off! And that's just for starters...go have a scroll through what we have here and you will
find all sorts of goodies that are useful to you. Have a good week. Don't get too caught up in the gloom. Life goes on - and I know that Elizabeth R has moved on to greater things - and there is great good waiting for you, for me and for everyone right now. Let's rejoice in that. Love Jasmine :-) |

Would you like to own amazing works of art?
|
Would you like to own an Andy Warhol piece, or something by George Condo? Impossible, right? Well, actually, no. Mintus is a company that gives investors the opportunity to buy shares and invest in individual
artworks. Aside from requiring a lower initial spend, buying a fractional share of art through a specialist company also means that you don’t have to worry about any of the practical challenges involved - such as storage, valuation, and selling costs. Once artworks hit their ‘optimal value’ after 2-7 years, Mintus then sells the artwork on your
behalf. Mintus charges an annual management fee (only for the first four years) and retains some of the investment to cover costs, then after the artwork is sold, charges a 1% fee (based on the value of the artwork) and a 20% ‘performance fee’ of any profits generated by the fund. Mintus is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Fight inflation. Get Tally!
|
Tally is not a cryptocurrency or a trading app. It’s a brand new currency backed by physical gold. An everyday alternative to pounds sterling, Tally works seamlessly with the existing banking infrastructure whilst also protecting you from the systemic risks of fractional-reserve banking. Although the value of gold and therefore tally fluctuates (up and down), historically it has proven to increase in value in the long term. This makes it the only mainstream currency that gives you a fighting chance against inflation.

Food Banks for Pets
|
Food banks for pets. It’s not just people who need food banks in these trying times. Our furry friends always need feeding, partly as a daily necessity but also to keep them from ending up in rescue centres or being abandoned on the side of roads or, as we’ve read recently, in bins. It’s unthinkable isn’t it.
