Hello , Only this week did I sit down, put pen to paper and work out a) who was coming for Christmas, b) what days were they coming, c) what is my budget and d) what is my menu. Now I have this all
planned out, I am feeling much more in control, and looking around for my Christmas food shop has become a pleasure, not a chore. Never one to tackle the crowds on Christmas week, I tend to get the majority done in advance and the rest delivered online. I do like to give myself extra time to shop around, as there is nothing I hate more than waste (both money and food). With all this in mind, I came to MoneyMagpie to help
me find some awesome deals. Both using the price comparison hacks mentioned ( here), signing up to two of the supermarket deals mentioned ( here) and also learning
that it is better to wait a bit for veggies because they will soon be only 19p in select supermarkets! Amazing! This saving also puts over a fiver back into my initial budget! So, sit back, enjoy our fabulous food boxset and get planning with the MoneyMagpie
team and I. Vicky (Editor) xxx |

Social Supermarkets are a concept that is gaining popularity across the UK. The unfortunate need for cheaper, more affordable food has meant food banks have seen the number of people using them soar across the UK. Increases in energy bills and fuel costs were stressful enough, but now food prices have risen to a 40-year high, leaving many in despair.
