Hello , Wow what a week..what a year! Have you been feeling a bit exhausted over the last few days? Quite a few of us have and I don't think it's just the amount of work
we're doing (although I haven't stopped recently...even over the weekend). I genuinely think that all the 'news' that we've been bombarded with, particularly what seems to be the collapse of our government...and our economy, has mentally exhausted us and made us feel physically tired as well as emotionally drained. |
| |
So if you've found yourself just wanting a lie down over the last few days...you're not alone. There seems to be a general sense of exhaustion all over the place so don't feel it's just you. Frankly I think you deserve a nice, quiet rest...so have one! Push everything else aside, pour yourself a mug of something hot and soothing and get
an early night and a late morning. You might as well as all of this upheaval is going to take a long, long time to sort itself out. While you're having a little break, join Travelzoo for free and get their tempting emails full of latest fab travel deals (including days out in the UK). It really is a nice one for
day-dreaming about where you'd like to go when you have a mo'. Handily, we also have ways that you can make money watching TV! In fact, if you're into it (I'm not), you could watch a horror film or two for free at the same time. Here's a list of ones you don't have to pay a penny to see. We've also got news on how you might be able to get a free electric blanket, how you can be paid to recycle your clothes in some stores and where adults
can eat for free this weekend. And get yourself some free cash in the great big MoneyMagpie £5 giveaway. Oh, and do join me for a PROPER Facebook Live on THURSDAY AT 1PM, where I'm going to be chatting with lovely Alan Dean who is a managing director of Cedar Tree travel insurance specialists. He's a regular
traveller himself (he lives in Gibraltar so he's constantly on the plane to come back to Blighty) and he knows everything there is to know about getting a good holiday and protecting yourself when abroad. Join us FOR FREE |

Bulk Buying: Is it worth it?
|
Have you come across the cash ‘n’ carry or bulk buying aisle in your local supermarket yet? I remember the first time I stumbled across one. I stood there starring at a 10kg bag of rice and thought who on earth needs one of those? Turns out, I do. Not need exactly, but would use – and save money in the process.
