Hello , Welcome to this week's boxset. We thought we would give you a running jump with your Valentine's plans and remind you all that, even if you are single, it's a day about love, and love doesn't always have to be romantic.
So, as opposed to feeling sad and lonely, lean into the love you do have. I for one will be celebrating with my "pal"entine (pictured kissing me), alongside my hubby. |

I remember as a kid getting one card every year. Sometimes a hand-drawn heart and sometimes bought. My dad's scrawl inside saying "from your valentine". I always knew it was him. Did I feel sad or daft? Absolutely not! I felt loved and honoured that I had someone that loved me. I carried on
this tradition into my own adult life and although now happily settled down, I still use the date to tell people I love that I love them. Because what's nicer to hear than that? Also never forget that this doesn't have to be commercial. You don't have to spend money to show love. Acts of kindness do that (or extra treats in my dog's case).
