Hello , How many mini-eggs did you eat then? My nieces deffs had their fair-share and we spent the Easter break really enjoying the sunshine. Somthing that really doesn't cost us a penny. Did any of you
manage to get outside? And did anyone else notice that people seemed to really need that bank holiday more than ever this Easter? I think the constant bad news was really waring everybody down. I have actually deleted news from my social media feed at present. Whilst I need to be very up to date in my work hours, I find that the human brain isn't really equipped
with this level of information 24/7, so I had a little digital detox. It has massively helped my focus and getting breaking news to my inbox has given me more control with what I engage with. Whilst I love digital media and tech, the reality is a little day off from it now and then can feel as beneficial as a massage. |

This week we've got stories on money hacks, we weigh in on the debate surrounding AI when it comes to making money and generating ideas, plus some great
cleaning and supermarket money-saving tips, and some more free days out from Bablands. We've also got our new animation
series about creating a savings safety net. We also have some fun money-makers. Make £2k renaming a burger, Get £5 for watching horror films...
these are both great. After a few days off, we've all come back really motivated and excited to see each other, returning to what we do best... just that bit happier and more chocolate-stuffed. Sorry if you work in retail or any of the many jobs that didn't get a bank holiday. I can only hope that your own days off are spent doing what makes you feel your best. We'll say farewell for now with this image of Jim Carrey giving us motivational vibes: sometimes a day at the
laptop feels exactly like this... xxx |

In fact, the number of bookings for professional mourners has gone up by 50% in the last year! Here's how you can become one.

AI and Money Making - Should we be Using Computers to Run Our Businesses?
|
The use of Artificial Intelligence is very much in the news at the moment, with the tech wizards pushing all kinds of AI on us, from programs that make art to ones that write screenplays. But these geniuses have already started rapidly back-tracking as they realise we should probably proceed with caution, before computers start removing humans from strategic decisions and creating a Terminator-type scenario where it’s humans versus
machines.

Free Family Fun this April with Bablands
|
Welcome back to our monthly roundup of the best free things to do with children in the capital (and beyond). I’m Emmy and for the last five years I’ve been hunting down the best events and hangouts for Londoners with young kids and writing about them on my blog, bablands.com. I’ve learnt a lot about kids’ activities since I started blogging, but one of my most surprising discoveries is that the best stuff is often free. With that in mind, I’ll be
partnering with MoneyMagpie each month to bring you the best free days out for families in London and beyond.
