Hello , Happy Spring! It's wonderful to have the longer days. I totally love this time of year - so hopeful and bright! Spot the glam photo on the right? It's amazing what
make-up artists can do. I took this photo just before doing a bunch of podcasts with some investment experts, which you will see from next week onwards. in fact it's been a podcast-tastic week for me. I was interviewed about travel money by Simon Calder for his travel podcast on the Independent newspaper and also Peter Sweden for his Freedom Substack, all about CBDCs. And, of course, I recorded a podcast with Stuart Gray of Alliance Trust to find out the secret of their 100 year+ success as an investment company. Have a listen - he has some good tips. |

Speaking of Alliance Trust, we have a FREE webinar coming up with them on April 17th at lunchtime which YOU are invited to. It's all
about investment trusts, how to invest in them, why you should invest in them and how you can copy their clever ways in your own investment journey. And that's not all we have for you for free, gratis and for nothing! Today we have information on how you can get free baked goods and how, if you
qualify, you could get an extra £1,200 into your savings with the Help to Save scheme. We also have some handy ways to save on TV streaming services, as their prices go up, and a way that you can make money as you spend. It's all happening here so check out the fun stuff we have for you this week :-) Best, Jasmine |

Inflation Rises (Again!)

10.4% in the 12 months to February 2023. That’s up from 10.1% in January. Despite what some political figures may want you to believe, the prices of everyday goods
and services are becoming more and more expensive. So given the current situation, is it time to move your money out of the stock market and into some
inflation-resistant assets?

|
Ok so this may not be for everyone, but we think Helen’s idea is definitely worth sharing. After Helen retired and was spending more time at home, she was really shocked by how much she was spending on toilet paper. Traditional toilet paper is – for obvious
reasons! – a single use item and with the cost of living crisis it’s getting more and more expensive. Helen decided to see if this was one of the areas in her house
where she could save money by finding a reusable solution.
