Hello , I hope you're managing to have a decent week despite the weather! Had you noticed that the summer holidays
had started? It came as a surprise to me as it feels like October already! I don't know about you, but when the weather is unfriendly in the summer, I turn to getting things sorted in front of the TV. In fact, I'm going to do a lot of that in the next month or so, as I'm moving back into my flat after having builders there - and I'll be
getting rid of a THIRD of my stuff. Yes, a THIRD. I'm going cold turkey. Really being strict with myself and selling, or giving away, a load of things that I haven't used for years. If you feel like doing the same, take a look at our 'sell your stuff' pages that have loads of ways of making money from anything you don't want anymore. |

What I also did on our rainy, grey weekend, was take part in the Free Speech Nation programme on GB News (Sunday night). I was talking about people being 'cancelled' by their banks because of their
political or social views. This, of course, was because of Nigel Farage being cancelled by Coutts and the continuing fall-out from that saga. Ha! They really picked the wrong person to cancel, didn't they?! He's not one who is going to go quietly, I'm really pleased that they picked on such a belligerent type, though. As you know, I've been
shouting about this issue since last year, but it wasn't until Farage started complaining about it that Parliament really woke up to it. Just a week ago I filmed this quick piece to camera to explain why I'm angry about the injustice of people being cancelled by their useless banks just because they happen to have certain political views. But enough of my ranting! It's supposed to be the summer - supposed to be! So, let's pretend we're on holiday
already. Here's how to make money on your hols and
here's how to get free doughnuts on
footie days. That should make you feel a bit sunnier 😎 Also, we have a bunch of freebies this week: a free eBook written by an expert in crypto, free cash back when you shop, and a free, actual fiver from us (just pretend it's your birthday!). There, do you feel like you're on your beach holiday with the sun shining down on you? I hope so! Love Jasmine x |

Here’s how to earn money every time you shop
|
Here at MoneyMagpie, we love cashback sites, but we’ll be the first to admit some of them can be difficult. In fact, there are some that have just never presented cashback we are owed. Many have left us waiting months and months without a word, uncertain of whether we will get a payment at all. Others have barely any choice when it comes to shopping online, and it barely seems worth it. Now picture this – you pay for a nice cup of coffee
with your debit or credit card and – ding! – you’ve got cashback on your purchase. You go to the supermarket and grab yourself a few groceries. Ding! More cashback. You continue your day, spending at your favourite shops. You’re collecting cashback as you spend, the pennies totting up. But how could this be?

You Can’t Pick and Mix Democracy
|
"Last year, MoneyMagpie ran an article on whether a bank can cancel you if it doesn’t like your views. The alarming answer was that yes, they can! Since writing this, I have seen multiple cases of people with certain views being banned from situations that should surely be available to them, and it got me wondering how you all felt about this."
