Hello , Who has finally got their "big coat" out? I have and couldn't be happier. I love it when there is a slight nip in the air. I love how cosy it gets and I prefer a winter wardrobe to the crop tops of summer. I got this fantastic wool jumper for £4.99 in a charity shop last week. All feeling very Hygge. This time of year has some fantastic branding done on it. Warm fires, fluffy socks, hot choccy and cosy jumpers. Whilst I love all that, I also don't love it when it is too cold to think. Growing up I
didn't have central heating in our house. It was Victorian and very dependant on open fires and hacks of an age gone by. I used to have a huge eiderdown on my bed, was a huge fan of a long john and lived for hot drinks and porridge. |

Free Electric Blankets
|
Octopus Energy is giving out free electric blankets. The firm says the free blankets will go to the company’s “most needy and vulnerable customers,” and that typical homes could shave up to £300 off their energy bill every year by opting for an electric blanket instead of heating the whole house. Heating an entire house costs around £4 a day, but an energy-efficient electric blanket only costs between two to four pence an hour, the company
estimates.
