Hello , What a wet week we had! In between work and getting very wet on dog walks it has meant that I have had time to rest. Something I find I don't do often enough. Whether seeing friends and family, sticking to obligations, running errands and
generally existing, we often forget the importance of rest and how important it is for mental and physical functioning. What is it that makes us feel somehow guilty or lazy to just allow our body to recharge? What inner voice won't let us just chill? This is something I very much aim to work on, as what good are any of us when burnt out? What better time is there to hibernate than when it is wet and dreary? As the clocks
have gone back, if we are able to, now is our moment. |

This week we have gone all out with some amazing hustles, information and general money health stuff. We also look at how you can make money selling your old cassette tapes. So if you (like I do) still have a random
old box of tapes from when you were a kid, see what you can do with it. See you again this time next week. Stay dry, stay warm and keep
hustling. Vicky Parry Head of Content at MoneyMagpie.com xxx |

It is High Time Interest Rates Came Down! It is Destroying Our Economy
|
"The idea of raising interest rates is to bring down inflation by making money more expensive to borrow. Personally I felt that inflation would naturally come down as the supply-chain issues sorted themselves out after the unnecessary lockdowns messed those up and as (I hoped) the BoE gradually removed from the system the insane amount of money they printed during those lockdowns. But no, they insisted on hiking interest rates just to bring inflation
down, admitting, as Jeremy Hunt did, that doing so could put us into recession..."
