Hello , One thing that really drives me mad is waste! Even scraping food off your plate when you have taken too much. It is SO unnessesary. As a student I worked in a huge sports stadium (I won't say which to protect myself) and at the end of each
shift hundreds of sacks of hotdogs went in the bin! It was spoiled so nobody could take it. This was heartbreaking and seeing that made me want to help this stop. Through my old company, we were one of the first people to fight for food banks in the UK and to this day I am a strict user of food waste apps. Do any of you use Olio? Whilst they kindly sponsored this boxset it goes without saying that the service they provide in incredible. They would now collect and distribute those hotdogs I mentioned previously and put an end to (or try to) such ludicrous waste when so many are
hungry. Aside from looking at food waste and how to access very cheap (and even free) food from them, we look at some absolutely amazing (and much needed) supermarket hacks. We also have some amazing deals... including free doughnuts, tacos, kids meals and more. |
