Hello ,
Did you have a lovely, peaceful Christmas?
I hope so.
I had a nice, quiet break...not that many presents but then, like most adults, there's not much I really need.
One present did bring tears to my eyes though.
It was from a friend who only just scrapes by on the meagre income she has. I give her
presents on birthdays and Christmas but I certainly don't expect anything from her.
But this year, two weeks before Christmas, a surprise present turned up in the post - a lovely bottle of bubble bath. Nothing fancy, but good stuff.
I love bubble bath and she knows it. It cost her a lot to send it and she didn't say anything about it. It was a total, lovely surprise.
As they say, it's the thought that counts, and that's
what stays with you far, far longer than the thing itself.
Even saying sorry for bad behaviour over the festive season is enough of a gift for some!
Well, whether you had presents aplenty or just one small thing, Christmas isn't over yet as far as we are concerned!
Take a look - there are lots of hints, tips and special dates to help you make the most of the coming year.
Also, are
you thinking of things you love that you should be giving up in January?
