Hello ,
I hope you're enjoying the sunshine where you are. It looks like this week is going to be another sunny one generally so make the most of it: organise a picnic (even if it's a picnic for one), work from the garden, hang out at the park or by the sea if you're near it. Get those 'bennies' as a friend of mine used to say (i.e. 'beneficial rays of the sun') while they're there!
Summer is such a great time for saving money and getting things for free. Not only can you find free food in the hedgerows (including nettles to make soup with, berries to eat and even seaweed you can cook with) but the whole family can have fun for free just walking and playing outdoors.
But there is still the issue of energy bills, even in the heat, as we need to keep cool and that can cost if we don't watch it. That's why we've come up with some pretty creative ways to stay cool on the cheap. Check it out!
