Have you ever wondered why it is that some people seem to just attract money and success while others work, toil and struggle but still don't seem to get there?
I've come across it many times.
Some people seem to get places, the work they
do pays off and they have some satisfaction in life.
Others don't, even though they might be clever, talented and even hard-working.
My friend Janet (not her real name) is like that. She's in her late forties, bright, well educated, funny, hard-working and always researches things well before doing them.
She should be really successful and rich.
She's
not.
She's been thrown out of several jobs (or has stomped out herself), has two failed businesses behind her and seems to hold down jobs for increasingly shorter periods.
Despite all of this she will tell you in minute detail how useless other people are, particularly people she has worked with...particularly those who were her bosses. It's never her who has done anything wrong.
Then there are others who
also work hard but they work with a will and they work with expectancy. I've also noticed that they often do the work for its own sake too, wanting to do it well because that's a great goal in itself.
They encounter setbacks, sometimes pretty serious, but work through them looking for the way to 'get to yes'.
Of course they don't always succeed and they certainly don't always get rich...in money...but they are more often
successful than not and they are invariably successful in friends and helpers when they need them.
